Christmas

Christmas is around the corner. I am planning the first annual Christmas Party. I am looking for a venue to hold our party and will be asking each family to help plan the event. I feel like our Carnival went very well and would love to have a Festive Christmas Party centered around the children. I have a few ideas for the party but would love to hear your ideas as well. If any of these ideas inspire you let me know, I am looking for someone to head each activity.

Children Gift Exchange (Ensure everyone has a name and determine gift value)
Games (For everyone - Think minute to win it)
Music and Dancing (i.e., chicken dance, electric slide)
Food (Menu planning and food assignments)
Decorations

I will be creating a slideshow of things from this year so if you have any pictures from this year that you would like included please post them on snapfish or send them to me.

CARNIVAL

The following games have been selected for the carnival in July:

Wendy - Cake Walk
Mom and Beth - Duck Pond
CJ - Strong Man
Carri, Kay and Kristen - Milk Can Shoot
Debbie and Joe - Bucket Toss
Vicki and Brandon - Dart Game - if anyone has darts please bring them.

We will also have a tatto0 parlor, fortune teller, a guess how many game, and races. Right no the plan is to watch the movie "Dragons" if anyone has another idea let me know.

Please give me the name of your game so that I can make sure the poster is made. If you need any ideas for the game or prizes let me know. We also plan on BBQing Hot Dogs and Hamburgers, having a cotton candy and popcorn machine. Does anyone else have any other ideas?

I also want to remind everyone that the date for the Carnival has changed to the 10th of July. Please mark your calendars and get time off as needed.

We are also planning on giving tickets to the kids to play the games. Are any of the parents interested in having them early as reward for good behavior. There is no plan on limiting the number of tickets the kids can have, we just think the kids will enjoy using tickets to play. If you want tickets in advance let me know and I will get some to you.

We are also asking that everyone wear White, Red, or Blue to the carnival. I would like to take pictures of each family and of the whole family and this would be a great opportunity. If you have any concerns or questions about this let me know. If you want to bring another change of clothes for a different family picture you can do that as well.
